living-roomThere are 2 main lounges in the home – one with a TV and the other being a quiet lounge with the options for music or reading. In addition, we have recently installed an “Internet Snug” area where residents and relatives can access the internet on a state of the art touch screen TV whilst helping themselves to a tea or coffee. Meals are taken in our dining/conservatory area which provides a calming peaceful aspect out onto the patio and garden where residents are welcome to pass the day in the fresh air and even turn their hand to a bit of gardening themselves. We have mainly single en-suite rooms with one room offering the facility for a couple to share if they so choose. Every room also offers TV and full internet access and can be installed with a phone at the wish of each resident.

  • 27 comfortable appointed bedrooms, 25 rooms with en-suites
  • All rooms fitted with door locks to ensure privacy (which can be over-ridden by staff in case of emergency)
  • 24 hour care with at least 2 staff on duty at any one time
  • Assistance with all personal duties if required
  •    Emergency call bell system operational in all lounges, bathrooms, bedrooms etc
  • Fire safety system with smoke detectors in all rooms
  • Passenger lift to all floors
  • Specially adapted bathrooms with special hoist
  • Access to local doctors, dentists and ophthalmic opticians
  • A varied and changing range of meals where special diets are also catered for.
